The Ianucci family has been a proud, patriotic member of the Hampton Roads community since the 1960's. With a storied family history of military service and strong ties to church and community, the Ianucci name has always been associated with integrity, character and service.

DISTINCTIVE FINANCIAL GROUP
In 1994, husband and wife team, Debra and Robert Ianucci, began the journey of building what would become a well-reputed, flourishing insurance and financial services practice serving the needs of the Virginia Beach community with a wide spectrum of insurance and financial services policies and products; everything from auto and homeowners’ insurance to commercial coverage for businesses to health insurance, life insurance and financial services. Despite the challenges of a tough coastal market, The Ianuccis have enjoyed consistent success over the years, which they attribute to their honest, straightforward approach and to always putting clients’ needs first. Now, decades later, the Ianuccis have embraced the next step in their firm’s continued growth and development. In January 2019, Ianucci Insurance and Financial Services (formerly known as The Ianucci Agency) became DISTINCTIVE FINANCIAL GROUP, a fully independent firm representing an expanded selection of quality companies and offerings to better serve their clients with the most competitive pricing available.

EDUCATION
Debra is a 1990 graduate of the prestigious Pennsylvania State University. Robert is a 1988 graduate of Mid America College of Funeral Service. He has been a Licensed Funeral Director in Virginia for more than 30 years. Robert joined the insurance profession in 1990; Debra in 1992. Both achieved the LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) through The American College early in their careers.
