Let me introduce myself: I am the owner, Richard Yonke, MSOM, LMT, a Licenced Acupuncturist in New York State (LAc). Appointments are for patients seeking Acupuncture treatments; I incorporate medical Massage Therapy to enhance the process of Acupuncture. Acupuncture is an ancient healing art; hair-thin needles are applied to specific points of the body to manipulate the immune system and help the body maintain homeostasis—a systematic balance of form and function. An excellent treatment modality for pain management and other bodily imbalances, acupuncture has a low rate of side effects because it uses the body’s ability to heal itself. Treatment durations are typically 45–60 minutes.
