Jia Park, MD, is a compassionate, board-certified family medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience. She provides high-quality medical care to patients of all socioeconomic backgrounds at her practice, Comprehensive Family Medical Practice in the Bayside neighborhood of Queens, New York. Dr. Park manages all aspects of family medical care, from preventive care to the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Park received her bachelor of science degree from the City College of New York/Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program in New York City. She earned her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Park then relocated to upstate New York to complete her family medicine residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany. To better serve her community, she is also a licensed medical acupuncturist.
Dr. Park is a professional member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the New York Society of Acupuncture for Physicians and Dentists, and the Community Health Care Association of New York State.
When she’s not busy taking care of her patients in Bayside, Dr. Park often travels the world as a volunteer. She uses her medical expertise as a medical missionary in underprivileged communities, including Guatemala, Uganda, and Ecuador. She served as the team physician for the National Prevention and Diabetes Collaborative Task Force for the Hudson River Community.
Dr. Park is fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish.
