Great job on our win tonight vs. Brookstone as our Volleyball Lady Rockets are now 5-0!! #rocketpride????

For the past six weeks, 8th grade has been studying NC symbols, regions, landforms and agriculture. For the culminating activity, students presented posters with menus of NC homegrown foods, children’s books, game boards, diet plans and travel plan menus. In addition to the activities, students brought in food items where the main ingredients were made here in NC like such as milk, sweet potatoes, poultry, beef, turkey, etc.

How do you spell UNDEFEATED? With a capital R for Rockets!!! Congratulations to both our Soccer and Volleyball teams for their wins this week! We are reigning as the undefeated teams in our conference. Keep the good vibes going as we continue our season!????????????????????

Southwest Charlotte STEM Academy is a free, public charter school nestled in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte which is the fastest growing area in Mecklenburg County! We currently serve students in grades K-8. Our school is quickly growing into North Carolina’s “premier STEM School” as we provide all students with interactive science, technology, engineering, and math-centered approach to learning. We are also a workshop model school for reading.
