J.McLaughlin is located on West Big Beaver Road in Troy's Somerset Collection Mall. Situated in the heart of metropolitan Detroit's northern suburbs, the shopping center draws in affluent customers all across Oakland County. The mall is a bustling upscale shopping destination with over 180 different stores, including many luxury retailers such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Neiman Marcus. Somerset is one of the biggest draws to the city of Troy, starting off as only one side and one floor. Today, it has expanded considerably and has two floors on its south side—where J.McLaughlin is on the second level—and three on its north one. After your shopping excursion, enjoy a meal at nearby seafood dining spots such as Eddie V's and Ocean Prime. You can also browse for other eateries and stores in downtown Detroit, which is a brief drive away off the freeway exit a mile from Somerset.
