Set between Mount Shasta and Mount Eddy, this secluded upmarket resort on a leafy lakefront property is 2 miles from local history at the Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum and 6 miles from Mossbrae Falls.

The rustic-chic rooms and chalets come with flat-screen TVs, plus gas fireplaces, kitchenettes or full kitchens, and private decks. Some quarters have Jacuzzis.

Parking is complimentary. There's also an 18-hole golf course, a spa and event space, along with a cozy seasonal restaurant that has mountain and lake views.
