A CARING AND INSIRING NURSERY IN KIRKBY
Kirkby Day Nursery and Preschool was established in 2000 and is based in the David Lloyd Club in Knowsley. Our nursery is designed to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years, and our team are dedicated to delivering the best possible childcare to our local families in the community.

We pride ourselves on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery where children thrive as they learn and play. The nursery is all on one level and has a separate entrance from the David Lloyd Building. We have four age-specific rooms has been lovingly crafted into an inspiring and stimulating learning environment with a variety of resources and activities available.

We have a large, recently refurbished garden, which offers lots of opportunity for digging, gardening and imaginative play. Your child will love exploring the variety of areas, such as our mud kitchen hut, the cosy reading shed, and our popular outdoor water play.
Preschool children are well prepared for their transition to school with use of our ICT equipment and our Growing Enhancement programme, unique to Bright Horizons. Alongside the curriculum, these programmes further support your child in navigating subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing, giving them the inspiration and confidence to learn and thrive in school and beyond.
Kirkby nursery have a caring and dedicated staff team who pride themselves on the friendly family feel and the relationships we have with our parents. The nursery holds parents' evenings twice a year, giving you an opportunity to talk to your child’s key person. We also have a regular 'stay and play' evening where we ask you to bring along your child and experience the fun things we do at nursery with them.
