Of course, that yummy dinner you’re eating is bound to make your favorite companion drool and flash you angelic, begging eyes, however, an unhealthy weight means an unhealthy pet. Strive to keep your pet on a proper diet with plenty of physical activity.

Dr. Funk works with a friendly veterinary technician to check this Shih Tzu’s blood pressure. Irregular blood pressure can cause a variety of complications and be a sign of disease such as diabetes. Knowing the symptoms of diabetes can be the initial step in preventative care. If your companion has a change in appetite, weight loss, excessive thirst, or is prone to urinary tract infections, do not hesitate to visit the veterinarian!

Our services include preventive and wellness care, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, allergy and dermatology testing, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, herbal medicine, laser therapy, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, pet dentistry, surgery including spay/neuter, c-section, orthopedic surgery, cherry eye repairs, ACL reconstruction, TPLO surgery, pain management, and more.
